During the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 food delivery service apps on the Android platform in Mexico showed varied performance patterns in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here, we break down the performance of each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.

DiDi Food: Express Delivery experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 99K at the end of September and peaking at around 110K at the end of October. By the end of December, downloads slightly decreased to around 93K. Weekly active users for this app saw a peak of approximately 1.46M in mid-November, before declining to about 1.21M by the end of December.

Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery maintained a relatively stable download rate throughout the quarter, starting at around 93K and ending at approximately 93K. The app saw a peak in downloads at about 100K in the last week of October. Active users showed a slight decline from approximately 1.53M at the end of September to around 1.35M by the end of December.

TaDa Delivery de Bebidas MX showcased a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 32K in late September and reaching a high of roughly 144K by the end of December. Weekly active users also saw a marked rise, starting at approximately 56K and peaking at around 179K in the final week of December.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery experienced consistent weekly downloads, beginning at about 45K and ending at roughly 50K. The app saw a peak in downloads at around 51K in mid-December. Active users showed a decline from approximately 955K at the end of September to about 829K by the end of December.

GLUP had a variable performance in weekly downloads. Downloads started at around 13K at the end of September, dipped to about 4K in late October, and then rose significantly to approximately 29K by the end of December. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at around 27K and increasing to approximately 44K by the end of the quarter.
